Job Description
Blue Wagon's mission is to build and maintain beautiful communities. We are looking for ambitious individuals to join our team and help us achieve this goal. We have opportunities for maintenance workers, crew leads, managers, office workers, and more. If you are the right candidate you will: love working as part of a team, have great problem-solving skills, feel comfortable conversing with customers in a professional manner, possess basic computer skills, and love the outdoors. A driver's license is preferred but not required. Blue Wagon strives to provide a welcoming and enjoyable work environment while also challenging employees to push their boundaries and achieve new goals. Blue Wagon prides itself on paying a wage starting at $20 an hour for all full-time employees and for following all employment regulations including WCB, CPP, EI, liability insurance, and more.
Potential Job Duties
For Crew Member:

Maintaining lawns by mowing, trimming, and edging

Planting and maintaining gardens, shrubs, and trees
-
Pruning and trimming plants and trees to promote growth and maintain their appearance
-
Raking leaves, clearing debris, and performing general clean-up of landscaped areas

Performing snow removal at commercial and residential properties
-
Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, aerators, power rakes, vacuums, and leaf blowers

Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines while on the job
For Crew Lead:
-
Leading a team of landscaping crew members
-
Setting and managing schedules for crew members
-
Ensuring that all safety guidelines and regulations are followed
-
Training crew members on proper techniques and equipment usage
-
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
-
Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment
-
Assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
For Office Administrator:
-
Managing office operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and record keeping
-
Handling correspondence and communicating with clients and partners
-
Maintaining and updating databases and filing systems
-
Handling incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate parties
-
Providing support to team members as needed

Assisting with the planning and coordination of meetings and events

Managing office supplies and equipment

Processing invoices, expenses, and other financial documents

Ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive information

Providing excellent customer service to clients
For General Manager:

Overseeing the daily operations of the company

Developing and implementing policies and procedures

Creating and managing budgets

Hiring, training, and managing staff

Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the company

Monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement

Making strategic business decisions

Handling customer complaints and issues

Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers

Providing leadership and guidance to team members
